LOS CREEPERS BIOGRAPHY
Los Creepers are true veterans of the Southern California punk rock scene. Through hard work and dedication they have become one of the must-see bands performing in Southern California. They have rocked venues as diverse as the Warped Tour, The Hootenanny, and The Ink and Iron Festival. They have performed on countless stages throughout California and beyond, from the tiny dive bars of Los Angeles to world reknown stages of The Troubadour, The Roxy and the Henry Fonda Music Box.
Los Creepers mix the high energy tempo of the So-Cal hot rod scene with a love of the blues, surf, punk, metal, country, and rockabilly. They have opened for an array of great bands including Rancid (3 times!), The Adolescents, Left Alone, Dropkick Murphys, The Aggrolites and the Street Dogs. They have also shared festival stages with The Straycats, Social Distortion, NOFX, and the Casualties.
The band's humble beginnings are a tiny basement in Cypress Park, in Northeast Los Angeles. Alex Alvarez (Guitar), Jorge Rosas (Guitar), and Herman Ibarra (Drums), comprised a band named Lester in the early 90s. The band started touring at an early age and quickly had a following from San Diego to San Francisco. Lester gave way to Los Creepers, and the rest is history. The current lineup includes singer David Ibarra and bassist John Hernandez, a great addition to the hard working band.
The band is currently playing live shows across the state of California, and is writing material for an upcoming full length release. They can be contacted at contact@loscreepers.net.
